simplicity in brilliance

I absolutely love this. Such a simple concept, but its intricacy is beautiful.

this poster is...

Is there a difference? The half empty/half full is a tricky concept. Guess it depends on the person & what is half empty/full.

Back
A sales blade is like taking a few random pages from a book, including the cover & back, & creating a sample. You would use the sales blade to market to book companies in hopes that they will purchase the material. Here is a "work in progress" example of my sales blade for the cookbook I've been working on for my Principles class. It's finally all coming together. For each recipe, a personal story is shared from a fellow classmate to tie in an emotional feel for the book. I love the idea & I can't wait to see the final product!

A wedding weekend

This weekend, Matthew's brother, Jeffery got married! It was so much fun to meet all of the family. I must say I made best friend's with Matthew's grandfather, Marco. We discussed cigar smoking, women dipping snuff, westerns, Dancing with the Stars, among many other things. Weddings always put people in better moods, at least they always do me. The celebration of two people knotting their lives together is one that can not be replaced. You just have to always be hopeful that the knot stays strong. Sunday morning, Matthew and I attended a preliminary Baptist church where men sit on one side & women sit on the other. Of course, this was a special occasion & they do not carry out tradition of this sort every Sunday, but it was a very neat experience & certainly one I enjoyed. The local churches nearby all gather before Easter & share a homecoming in an old, small church that I was dying to take pictures of the whole time. It was quaint, simple, & white. All together, it was a wonderful weekend & I'm looking forward to many more with Matty & his family.
